Fäbodliden Wind Farm is located approximately 15 km northeast of the Municipality of Vindeln with the closest villages being Risliden, Kamsjön and Buberget. The wind farm was put into operation in 2015 and consists of 24 Vestas V112 turbines with a maximum tip height of 185 m. The annual production is approximately 235 GWh which is comparable to the hydropower plant of Bjurfors with an annual production of 194 GWh.

Fred. Olsen Renewables has eight employees responsible for the day-to-day operation of Fäbodliden and in part also Högaliden. Snow clearing and road maintenance are managed by a local company.
Each year the company in cooperation with the municipality of Vindeln allocate an amount of money for the benefit of the local community. Organisations may apply for funding and one-off events and proximity to the wind farm are favoured. To date, more than SEK 1 million has been distributed. Projects typically supported are renovation of community halls, sports and youth activities, wind protection and barbecue areas.
An extension to the wind farm of additional four wind turbines has been consented. Work is ongoing to proceed with the consent for the Fäbodliden II project.

Fäbodliden Vindpark ligger ca 15 km nordost om Vindeln, närmaste byarna är Risliden, Kamsjön och Buberget. Vindparken består av 24 stycken Vestas V112 en totalhöjd på 185 meter som togs i drift 2015. Den årliga produktion uppgår till ca 235 GWh per år vilket kan jämföras med vattenkraftverk Bjurfors över med en årsproduktion om 194 GWh.
Fred. Olsen Renewables har 8 anställda stationerad i vindparken för dels driften av Fäbodliden och framledes även av Högaliden. Snöröjning och vägunderhåll sköts av lokal entreprenör.
Årligen delar bolaget ut vindbygdsmedel tillsammans med Vindeln kommun för att främja trivsel och utveckling. Föreningar får söka medel, unika engångshändelser och närhet till vindparken premieras. Hitintills har över 1 miljon kronor delats ut till föreningslivet, exempel på projekt som stöttas är renoveringar av byastugor, sport- och ungdomsverksamhet, vindskydd och grillplatser.
I direkt anslutning ligger Fäbodliden II där tillstånd för uppförande av 4 ytterligare verk har givits. Arbete pågår för att gå vidare med detta tillstånd.
