A new War Memorial has been built in Moray and funded by Rothes 1 Wind Farm Fund. The memorial in the style of a cairn is outside Spynie Village hall and is in memory of those who gave their lives for the country.
The cairn was ready in time for the annual remembrance service led by Rev Jenny Adams. Special thanks went to Lossiemouth undertakers Graham Rattray who build the memorial just a week before November 11th. Old cobblestones (donated by Moray Council) from the High Street have been incorporated into the design.
