We’re bringing forward plans for Hope Moor, a renewable energy development bridging the boundaries of Yorkshire and County Durham. Located between Barnard Castle and Richmond, Hope Moor would generate more than 100MW of clean, home-grown energy – enough power for 81,000 homes and businesses – that will play a vital role in the helping the United Kingdom achieve its energy security and climate goals.
As with our existing developments, the Hope Moor project will be sensitively designed to respect nature and the landscape, as well as the traditional land practices of the upland moors, whilst also creating jobs and investing in local communities.
