Proposed development
We are exploring the potential to develop Hearthstanes Wind Farm, located on the Menzion area of Hearthstanes Estate, approximately 3km south of Tweedsmuir in the Scottish Borders.
We are at the very early stages of our proposals. We are submitting a planning application for an anemometer mast – which will help us to measure wind speeds at the site. The information from this mast that will help to inform any future planning application for a wind farm – which will be supported by a range of public consultation, including local events.
